Türkiye's energy import bill decreased by 19.2% to $4.91 billion in February, compared to the same month in 2025, according to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute on Tuesday.
The country's energy import bill totaled $6.08 billion last February.
The data shows that the overall import bill for the month, including energy and other items, totaled $30.08 billion.
At $4.91 billion, energy accounted for 16.3% of the overall import figures in Türkiye in February.
Crude oil imports saw a 14% increase to 2.55 million tons in February, compared to 2.24 million tons in February 2025.
