The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,199.47 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), according to official figures released Thursday.
The lowest rate is set at zero lira at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. local time (0900 and 1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Friday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 52.8% to around 560.15 million liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 871.47 liras and 924.04 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,400 liras between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1500 and 1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 397.99 liras at 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 44.37 liras at 2.24 p.m. local time (1124 GMT) on Thursday.
