The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 2,098.48 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), according to official figures released Tuesday.
The lowest rate is set at 181 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Wednesday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 49.6% to around 454.62 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 794.48 liras and 842.92 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 3,400 liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600 and 1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 300 liras at 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 44.47 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Tuesday.
