The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 7 p.m., 8 p.m. local time (1600, 1700 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 231.01 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Monday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 267% to around 1.21 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,852.51 liras and 2,000.32 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 2,595.01 liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), while the lowest was set at 171.00 liras at 10 a.m. local time (0700 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 44.25 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
