The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, 1500 GMT), according to official figures released Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,399.99 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Friday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 14.8% to around 1.70 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,639.35 liras and 2,651.52 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,400 liras between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1500-1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 799.99 liras at 10 a.m. local time (0700 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 44 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Thursday.
