The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,246 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 675.11 liras at 4 p.m. local time (1300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Wednesday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 23.7% to around 1.17 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,818.25 liras and 1,829.95 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 3,400 liras at 5 a.m. local time (0200 GMT), while the lowest was set at 999.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.98 liras at 2.58 p.m. local time (1158 GMT) on Tuesday.
