The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600 and 1700 GMT), according to official figures released Monday.
The lowest rate is set at 300 liras at 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Tuesday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 13.8% to around 902.4 million liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,366.69 liras and 1,459.07 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 3,400 liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600 and 1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 249,99 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 44.47 liras at 2.20 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Monday.
