The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Monday.
The lowest rate was set at 250,01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Monday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 45.9% to around 1.36 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,139.52 liras and 2,164.96 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 3,400 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 170,01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 44.08 liras at 2.33 p.m. local time (1133 GMT) on Monday.
