The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,400.00 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,547.39 liras between 10 a.m.-12 p.m local time (0700-0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Sunday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 6.18% to around 1.39 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,575.92 liras and 2,596.01 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 3,400.00 liras at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., 7 p.m. local time (0600, 1500, 1600 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,075.00 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.62 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Saturday.
