The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 1,642.69 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (1500-1600 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 0 liras between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. local time (0600-1300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Sunday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 86.5% to around 164 million liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 300.63 liras and 326.41 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 3,375 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), while the lowest was set at 299.99 liras at 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.66 liras at 2.15 p.m. local time (1115 GMT) on Saturday.
