The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,400.00 Turkish liras between 5 p.m.- 7 p.m. local time (1400-1600 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 1000 liras at 2 a.m. local time (1100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Sunday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 22.4% to around 1.57 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,686.56 liras and 2,696.08 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 3,400.00 Turkish liras between 9 a.m.-11 a.m. and between 5 p.m.- 9 p.m. local time (0500-0800 and 1400-1800 GMT), while the lowest was at 2.710.10 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.33 liras at 2.10 p.m. local time (1110 GMT) on Saturday.
