The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 718 Turkish liras between 09.00 and 11.00 local time (0600-0800 GMT), at 15.00 (1200 GMT) and between 17.00 and 21.00 (1400-1800 GMT) while the lowest will be 400.01 liras at 12.00 local time (0900 GMT), according to official figures on Monday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Monday's electricity market showed an increase of 1.7% to 352.04 million liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 629.09 liras and 630.58 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Monday was set as 718 liras between 08.00 and 23.00 local time (0500-2000 GMT) with the lowest at 450.73 liras at 03.00 local time (0000 GMT)
US$1 equals 8.96 Turkish liras at 1146 GMT on Monday.
