The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 4,800 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (0200 - 0500 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.
The lowest rate is set as 2,889.99 liras at 12 a.m., between 2. a.m. and 4 a.m. and at 10 a.m. local times (2100, between 2300 and 0100 GMT previous day and 0700 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Friday's electricity market showed a decrease of 11.8% to 1.57 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 3,634.61 liras and 3,666.26 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set as 4,800 liras at 9 a.m. local time (0600 GMT), while the lowest rate is determined as 1,000 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.60 liras at 2.39 p.m. local time (1139 GMT) on Friday.
