The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, 1300-1900 GMT), according to official figures released Monday.
The lowest rate was set at 650.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Tuesday's electricity market trade volume shows an increase of 32.6% to around 1.44 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,827.12 liras and 2,838.90 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 3,400 liras at 8 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (0500, 1300-2000 GMT), while the lowest was set at 149,99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 41.92 liras at 2.15 p.m. local time (1115 GMT) on Monday.
