The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. (0500, 1600 and 1700 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,584.89 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday's electricity market shows an increase of 34.4% to around 2.05 billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,909.71 and 2,928.28 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Sunday was set at 3,400 liras between 12 a.m. and 2 a.m., and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. (2100-2300, and 1600-1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 754.10 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 40.94 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
