The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. (1600 and 1700 GMT), according to official figures released Monday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,000.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Tuesday's electricity market shows a decrease of 1.7% to around 2.01 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,853.53 and 2,854.24 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Monday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. (0500, 1600 and 1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,584.89 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 40.98 liras at 2.55 p.m. local time (1155 GMT) on Monday.
