The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,700 Turkish liras between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (1300 - 1500 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,594.97 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday’s electricity market shows an increase of 5.4% to 1.32 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,261.77 liras and 2,289.12 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,700 liras at 8 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. local time (0500 GMT and 1300 - 1400 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,999.99 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT).
US$1 equals 28.67 liras at 2.20 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Wednesday.
