The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 6 a.m and 10 a.m., and between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0300-0700, and 1300-1800 GMT), according to official figures released on Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,667.34 liras at 3 a.m and 5 a.m. local time (0000, 0200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Wednesday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 0.8% to around 2.09 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,148.27 liras and 3,165.88 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 3,400 liras between 8 a.m and 11 a.m., and between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0500-0800, and 1000-1600 GMT), while the lowest was at 2,200 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 42.82 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Tuesday.
