The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 617 Turkish liras at 20.00, 21.00 and 22.00 local times while the lowest will be 356.33 liras at 07.00 local time, according to official figures on Wednesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed an decrease of 12.1% to 290.47 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 474.24 liras and 472.74 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Tuesday was set as 616.99 liras at 16.00 local time, and the lowest at 361.66 liras at 07.00 local time local time.
US$1 equals 8.61 Turkish liras at 1130 GMT on Wednesday.
