The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 316 Turkish liras at 20.00 local time and the lowest will be 290 liras at 04.00 and 05.00 local times, according to official figures on Wednesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed an increase of 1.27% to 182.84 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 306.10 liras and 307.11 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Wednesday was set as 338 liras at 16.00 local time and the lowest at 289.99 liras at 04.00, 05.00 and 06.00 local times.
US$1 equals 7.38 Turkish liras at 1119 GMT on Wednesday.
