The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 1,217 Turkish liras between 17.00 and 18.00 local time (1400 and 1500 GMT) while the lowest will be 794,97 liras at 04.00 and 05.00 local time (0100 and 0200 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Friday's electricity market showed a decrease of 16.5% to 496.87 million liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 968.20 liras and 972.72 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Friday was set as 1,217 Turkish liras between 08.00 and 11.00 local time (0500 - 0800 GMT), and 14.00 and 22.00 local time (1100 - 1900 GMT), while the lowest was 705 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT).
US$1 equals 11.90 Turkish liras at 1130 GMT on Friday.
