The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 12 a.m. and between 6 a.m and 11 a.m and between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (2100 and 0300-0800 GMT and 1200-2000 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,499.99 liras between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. local time (0900 and 1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows an increase of 1.1% to around 1.9 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,888.54 liras and 2,894.52 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras between 6 a.m and 11 a.m and between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (0300-0800 GMT and 1300-2000 GMT), while the lowest rate at 2,244 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT).
US$1 equals 34.63 liras at 2.19 p.m. local time (1119 GMT) on Thursday.
