The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time and 9 p.m. (1300-1600 GMT and 1800 GMT), according to official figures released Monday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,399.99 liras at 2 a.m. local time (2300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Tuesday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrase of 3.4% to around 1.71 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,604.45 liras and 2,665.47 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 3,400 liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, and 1300-1600 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,642.69 liras at 11 p.m. local time (2000 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.48 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Monday.
