The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. local time and between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0400-0600 and 1300-1600 GMT), according to official figures released Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 605 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Wednesday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 1.1% to around 1.54 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,778.51 liras and 2,798.89 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. local time and between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0400-0600 and 1300-1600 GMT), while the lowest was set at 912,01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 42.44 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Wednesday.
