The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,650 Turkish liras at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. (0600 - 0700 GMT) and between 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (1300 - 1500 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,375 liras at 2 a.m. (2300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 9.09% to 1.69 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 3,042.16 liras and 3,081.53 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set as 3,650 Turkish liras between 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. (0600-0800 GMT) and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (1100-1500 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 2,500 liras at 4 a.m. (0100 GMT) according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.81 liras at 2.30 p.m. local time (1130 GMT) on Wednesday.
