The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,400.00 Turkish liras between 9 a.m.-11 a.m. and between 5 p.m.- 9 p.m. local time (0500-0800 and 1400-1800 GMT), according to official figures released Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 2.710.10 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Saturday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 4.8% to around 2.03 billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,129.6 liras and 3,137.99 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 3,400.00 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0500-1600 GMT), while the lowest was at 2,700.01 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.34 liras at 2.38 p.m. local time (1138 GMT) on Friday.
