The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0500,0600 GMT and 1300-1800 GMT), according to official figures released Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,300 liras at 5 a.m. local time (0200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Tuesday's electricity market trade volume shows a decrease of 5.5% to around 1.84 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,044.45 liras and 3,066.91 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 3,400 liras at 8 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0500 GMT and 1300–1800 GMT), while the lowest was 2,584.33 liras at 5 a.m. local time (0200 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 41.96 liras at 2.17 p.m. local time (1117 GMT) on Tuesday.
