The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 718 Turkish liras between 08.00 and 23.00 local time (0500-2000 GMT) while the lowest will be 451.31 liras at 03.00 local time (0000 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed an increase of 1.15% to 356.12 million liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 652.40 liras and 652.25 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Tuesday was set as 718 liras between 09.00 and 11.00 local time (0600-0800 GMT), at 15.00 (1200 GMT) and between 17.00 and 21.00 (1400-1800 GMT) with the lowest at 400.01 liras at 12.00 local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 9 Turkish liras at 1115 GMT on Tuesday.
