The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. and between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. local time (0500-0800 and 1100-1400 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,289.24 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Sunday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 29.6% to around 1.8 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,059.62 liras and 3,103.30 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 3,399.45 Turkish liras at 5 p.m. local time (1400 GMT), while the lowest was at 1,899.99 liras at 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. local time (0100,02.00 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 42.53 liras at 2.13 p.m. local time (1113 GMT) on Sunday.
