The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 1,217 Turkish liras between 08.00 and 11.00 (0500 and 0800GMT) and between 15.00 and 21.00 local time (1200 and 1800GMT) while the lowest will be 794,97 liras at 04.00 local time (0100GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday's electricity market showed an increase of 21.7% to 557.13 million liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 1,076.32 liras and 1,095.95 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Sunday was set as 1,217 Turkish liras between 17.00 and 21.00 local time (1400 and 1800GMT), while the lowest was 670 liras at 04.00 local time (0100GMT).
US$1 equals 10.99 Turkish liras at 1115 GMT on Sunday.
