The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 1,217 Turkish liras between 08.00 and 22.00 local time (0500 - 1900 GMT), while the lowest will be 824.21 liras at 03.00 and 04.00 local time (0000 and 0100 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed an increase of 2.70% to 589.03 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 1,110.66 liras and 1,116.54 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday was set as 1,217 liras between 08.00 and 23.00 local time (0500 - 2000 GMT), with the lowest at 700 liras at 04.00 local time (1000 GMT).
US$1 equals 12.55 Turkish liras at 1120 GMT on Wednesday.
