The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 7 a.m., 9 a.m. and between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0400,0600 GMT and 1200-1800 GMT), according to official figures released Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1750 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Wednesday's electricity market trade volume shows a decrease of 3% to around 1.78 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,029.69 liras and 3,054.72 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0500,0600 GMT and 1300-1800 GMT), while the lowest was 2,300 liras at 5 a.m. local time (0200 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 41.98 liras at 2 p.m. local time (11 GMT) on Wednesday.
