The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 1,217 Turkish liras between 08.00 to 21.00 local time (0500 to1800GMT), while the lowest will be 796.13 liras at 08.00 local time (0500 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Saturday's electricity market showed an increase of 16.1% to 557.04 million liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 1,124.87 liras and 1,1134.51 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Sunday was set as 1,217 liras between 18.00 to 21.00 local time (1500 to 1800GMT), with the lowest at 400 liras at 08.00 local time (0500 GMT).
US$1 equals 16.42 Turkish liras at 1120 GMT on Sunday.
