The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0400-0700, 1300-1800GMT), according to official figures released Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,271.42 Turkish liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Friday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 19.6% to around 1.91 billion Turkish liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,037.31 Turkish liras and 3.042.02 Turkish liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras at 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., 9 p.m. local time (1400, 1500, 1700, 1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,694.81 Turkish liras at 5 a.m. local time (0200 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 42.96 liras at 2.30 p.m. local time (1130 GMT) on Thursday.
