The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 1,217 Turkish liras between 08.00 and 11.00 (0500 and 0800GMT) and between 14.00 and 19.00 local times (1100 and 1600GMT) while the lowest will be 602 liras at 23.00 local time (2000GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 1.27% to 568.27 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 1,072.34 liras and 1,085.55 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday was set as 1,217 Turkish liras between 08.00 and 11.00 (0500 and 0800GMT) and between 14.00 and 21.00 local times (1100 and 1800GMT), while the lowest was 800,94 liras at 04.00 local time (0100GMT).
US$1 equals 12.39 Turkish liras at 1120 GMT on Wednesday.
