The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 1,217 Turkish liras at 10.00, 11.00 and between 14.00 and 20.00 local time (0700, 0800 and 1100-1700 GMT), while the lowest will be 783.99 liras at 03.00 and 04.00 local time (0000 and 0100 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed an increase of 6.6% to 614.9 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 1,082 liras and 1,091 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday was set as 1,217 liras at 17.00 local time (1400 GMT), with the lowest at 600.01 liras at 03.00 local time (0000 GMT).
US$1 equals 14.66 Turkish liras at 1138 GMT on Wednesday.
