The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (1400 and 1500 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,327.40 Turkish liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Sunday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 10.5% to around 1.41 billion Turkish liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,574.59 Turkish liras and 2,583.05 Turkish liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. local time (0500 and 1400 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,621.20 Turkish liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 42.58 liras at 2.32 p.m. local time (1132 GMT) on Saturday.
