The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,399.45 Turkish liras at 6 a.m., 8 and 9 p.m. local time (0300, 1700, 1800 GMT), according to official figures released on Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,385 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows a decrease of 16.9% to around 1.69 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,618.52 liras and 2,610.29 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Friday was set at 3,399.5 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. local time (1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,719.99 liras at 7 a.m. and 12 p.m. local time (0400, 0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 40.17 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Friday.
