The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, 1300 and 1400 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,719.99 Turkish liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Sunday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 28% to around 1.82 billion Turkish liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,877.78 Turkish liras and 2,918.82 Turkish liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (1400 and 1500 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,327.40 Turkish liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 42.69 liras at 2.10 p.m. local time (1110 GMT) on Sunday.
