The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (0400-0500, 1300-1900 GMT), according to official figures released Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,050 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Friday's electricity market trade volume shows an increase of 8.8% to around 1.7 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,038.26 liras and 3,037.63 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set 3,400 liras between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (0300-0500, 1300-1900 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,000.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 41.99 liras at 2.45 p.m. local time (1145 GMT) on Thursday.
