The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m local time (1400-1700 GMT), according to official figures released Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 130.01 liras at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m local time (0900, 1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Thursday's electricity market trade volume shows a decrease of 23.6% to around 1.36 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,479.18 liras and 2,480.59 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,400 liras at 7 a.m., 9 a.m. and between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0400,0600 GMT and 1200-1800 GMT), while the lowest was 1,750 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 41.98 liras at 2.32 p.m. local time (1132 GMT) on Thursday.
