The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,650 Turkish liras at 8. a.m. and 9 a.m., and between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. (0500 and 0600, and 1400 - 1600 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,075 liras at 1 p.m. (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed a decrease of 1.54% to 1.65 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 3,023.19 liras and 3,037.94 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set as 3,650 liras at 8. a.m. and 9 a.m., and between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. (0500 and 0600, and 1400 - 1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 2,127.99 liras at 3 a.m. (0000 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.85 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Thursday.
