The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 1,217 Turkish liras between 16.00 and 20.00 (1300 and 1700GMT) while the lowest will be 699,99 liras at 03.00 local time (0000GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed a decrease of 15.6% to 479.3 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 979,03 liras and 986,67 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday was set as 1,217 Turkish liras between 08.00 and 11.00 (0500 and 0800GMT) and between 14.00 and 19.00 local times (1100 and 1600GMT) while the lowest will be 602 liras at 23.00 local time (2000GMT).
US$1 equals 12.89 Turkish liras at 1147GMT on Thursday.
