The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 4,800 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.(0500, 0600 and 1200 - 1500 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,999.98 liras at 4 a.m. (0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed a decrease of 4.09% to 1.87 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 3,641.58 liras and 3,734.34 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set as 4,800 liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. (0500, 0600 and 1200-1400 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 1,999.98 liras at 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. (2300-0000 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.64 liras at 2.42 p.m. local time (1142 GMT) on Thursday.
