The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. local time (1300-1400 GMT), according to official figures released Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 501.02 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Wednesday's electricity market trade volume shows a decrease of 10.8% to around 1.56 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,780.85 liras and 2,795.68 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 3,400 liras at 6 a.m. and 9 a.m., and between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0300-0600, and 1300-1600 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,501.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 42.09 liras at 2.10 p.m. local time (1110 GMT) on Tuesday.
