The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m., and between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. (0400-0800 GMT and 1300-1500 GMT), according to official figures released Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,499.98 liras at 1 a.m. local time (2200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Thursday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 14.5% to around 2.08 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,161.14 liras and 3,183.70 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,400 liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, 1400, and 1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,649.99 liras between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. local time (2300-0100 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.05 liras at 2.19 p.m. local time (1119 GMT) on Thursday.
