The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,319.81 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Tuesday's electricity market shows an increase of 2.1% to around 2.3 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,061.86 liras and 3,067.88 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Tuesday was set at 3,399 liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. (1600-1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 2,275 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 40.71 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Tuesday.
