The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 1,217 Turkish liras at 17.00 and 18.00 local time (1400 and 1500 GMT), while the lowest will be 697.99 liras at 03.00 local time (0000 GMT) according to official figures on Wednesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed an decrease of 8.45% to 527.63 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 919.72 liras and 924.88 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday was set as 1217 liras between 8.00 and 11.00, and 14.00 and 21.00 local time (0500 GMT - 0800 GMT, and 1100 GMT - 1800 GMT) respectively, with the lowest at 698 liras at 03.00 and 0400 local times (0000 GMT and 0100 GMT).
