The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 35 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Sunday’s electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 28.35% to around 0.84 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1759.84 liras and 1775.94 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 a.m., 8 a.m., and between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0400, 0500 and 1400-1600 GMT), while the lowest was at 537 liras at 11 a.m. local time (0800 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 42.33 liras at 2.16 p.m. local time (1116 GMT) on Saturday.
