The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 a.m and 9 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (0400-0600, 1300-1500 GMT), according to official figures released Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,250 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Wednesday's electricity market trade volume shows an increase of 5.8% to around 1.80 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,075.83 liras and 3,092.07 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 3,400 liras at 8 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (0500 and 1300-1500 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1719.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 42.23 liras at 2.37 p.m. local time (1137 GMT) on Tuesday.
